We just returned from our cruise and I thought I would let you know how much we enjoyed our visit to Berlin. [The guide] managed to keep focused on what was important and did an amazing job of introducing us to your impressive city. His love and enthusiasm for the city and its features was obvious. His knowledge and his ability to express to us the context of what we were seeing was exceptional. Thank you once again for making our visit so memorable.

We felt that his background and knowledge was exceptional. He made Berlin come alive for ourselves and our group of 12. His English was excellent and his ability to answer a whole range of questions was first rate. He personalized Berlin for us.

[The guide] is very knowledgeable on the history of Berlin. He not only provides a historical tour, but explains how German 20th Century history has shaped the Germany of today. For four people having a customer tour was for the same money as you could do a cruise ship bus tour. In addition, going from Warnemunde to Berlin via the autobahn saves about an hour over taking the train. He also took us to a local bakery for lunch that was quick and reasonably priced.

He was an excellent guide. He met us at our hotel as agreed, started with an orientation of the area, transit system, how to navigate our way back to the hotel; an overview of the neighborhood historic & cultural sites, dining & shopping. In the City tour we saw all the tourist "must sees" as well as little slices of of real Berlin life. We toured on foot, bus & train.

His love of history and knowledge of Berlin was wonderful. The day was rainy but his enthusiasm for Berlin made the trip a hugh shiny success.

[The guide] knows Berlin inside out and gives you all the important sites and information as well as helping you customize the rest of your stay. Our son and daughter-in-law particularly connected with him because he could give them current information about things as diverse as the trendy areas of the city, a good Turkish restaurant, a good flea market, good local bars and even a communist era movie theater that still has the crystal chandeliers.
